RESEARCH CENTER FOR PROTEOME ANALYSIS(RCPA) was founded in 2000 sponsored by Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences and Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology. In the post-genomic era, the investigation of protein dynamic behaviour and function has become the focus of current life science. The mission of RCPA is to develop and employ technologies to probe the protein dynamics including dynamic expression, modification, location and interaction, which can provide the molecular clues for cell signal transduction, disease markers and drug targets. The RCPA has been equipped with the state-of-art instruments and worked with excellent team. In the recent years, the RCPA published more that 40 papers in international journals, filed more than 20 patents and created the first proteomic database in China.
